Achievement of Year
Malcolm Holmes
Malcolm's new years resolution in 2009 was to run a 10k, not a bad target considering he had only just started running. Malcolm ended up running the New York marathon with a time 3hr 26. Within the space of year Malcolm went from not running at all to setting the Challenge Central club record!
Malcolm will attempt to run 12 Marathons this year! Congratulations and good luck.

The Club Man Award
Duncan Butt
Duncan gets this award for efforts in team work, enthusiasm and support in everything we've done this year. He was a man of knowledge on the boat race, the all night all day driver on the 3 peaks and the leaflet delivery man at Standalone. He has attended every social, got his family involved in training, come to support others in events and helped with the Challenge Central triathlon.
His achievements and efforts aren't just behind the scenes as he has lost weight, built muscle and taken part in events including the survival of the fittest. He has been a photographer, a promoter, a motivator and a social organiser!
There is no better person suited to the club man of the year than Duncan. Well done and thank you.
