CC clubs compete in interclub event
CC Letchworth, Stevenage & Uxbridge all competed in the interclub challenge this week. The event was the Team Relay. Well done to all involved.

12 hour endurance challenge for teams or individuals
How far can you travel in 12 hours using 3 different pieces of gym equipment
>> 4 hours on the bike
>> 4 hours on the rower
>> 4 hours on the treadmill
Only one person per team can be using the equipment at one time but it is up to you how you factor in rotation, sleep and nutrition.
The challenge will run through the night from 8pm to 8am at active4less in Stevenage.
Challenges will be able to eat and sleep in the club.
You will need to consider sleeping patterns, organise food throughout
the night for your teammates and the ability to motivate your teammates
when times get hard.
Members of staff will be there to record all distances set. There will be a
presentation after the event where medals will be presented to all finishers.
There will be a set area for sleeping, people will be required to bring their
own sleeping bags etc.
Dusk Till Dawn ItineraryYou will arrive at 7.30pm which will allow time for teams to get ready. We will then hold the draw to decide the order of equipment each team will use.
Teams are allowed to decide between themselves how each piece of equipment best be split.
Teams will be on each piece of equipment for 4 hours and distances will be noted every 30 minutes. At 8am on Saturday morning we will award the winning team with their medals.

It is advised you bring food and drink for the evening. Water is available but you will need your own bottle.
When choosing what food you will want to bring, consider foods that will supply energy throughout the evening, but also a few items that you like to pick up your morale for when you get into the early hours.
A moderate level of fitness is advised. It is all on the gym equipment so you can go at your own pace though.
You can do either. If you join as a team then you will know who your teammates are, if you join as an individual then we will assign you a team with the others that joined as individuals.
£60 for team entry (2, 3 or 4 members)
or £25 for individual entry and Challenge Central will allocate you a team.
