Sprint Distance Triathlon!

The future plan is provide an annual triathlon out of Stevenage.

I am hoping to arrange a few 'dummy' runs over the next couple of months which will tie in nicely with training for you guys!

I will need to hire the swimming pool so there will be costs involved but if you are interested in trying something a bit different, I need your help!

I will try and book a few lanes for Sunday the first of Nov! You will need to able to swim (400m) and have access to a bike!

The distances will be 400m swim, 20k bike, 5k run.

Not one to be picky, but a sprint-distance is 800m swim super sprint is 400m,( can you tell i've got a new book).Full triathlon distances as follows...(on average)
1.super sprint-400m swim-10k bike-2.5k run
2.sprint-800m swim-20/25k bike-5k run
3.Olympic-(sanctioned for the Olympic games,first used in 2000 games)1500m swim-40k bike
-10k run.
4.Half-Iron-2k swim-90k bike-20k run.
5.IRONMAN -4k swim-180k bike-42.2k(26.2miles) run.

They seem alot longer when you write it down!
Alan what was your first event?
