Thailand Cycling Tour - Day 8
78 exhausting and very wet miles completed today as we move closer to our final destination in Phuket.
Huge contrast in weather compared to yesterday, as it literally hasn’t stopped raining all day! Despite the constant and relentless rain, the team opted to miss lunch and push through to the resort.
Lots of support for us on road with cars beeping us along and children cheering us on from their homes, Thailand really is the land of smiles.
The standout feature of the day is the absolutely fantastic jungle-style resort we are staying in tonight. Our private and beautifully styled wooden huts surround a massive lake within a secluded mini forest.
The rain continues to fall but we will not let it dampen our determination to get to Phuket, now a little over a 100 miles away.
