Dragon Boat Racing
The Challenge Central Dragon Boat Competition is a fun and exciting experience for everyone – whether you are taking part in a boat or cheering from the water’s edge. Each team will consist of ten people who will paddle furiously to the beat of their eleventh member; the drummer. To make sure the boat steers true, you will also have a professional helmsman on-board.
At first you will complete the 200m course in a series of heats, with the fastest teams progressing to the knock-out rounds of the competition.
The still waters of Fairlands Valley, Stevenage in Hertfordshire are ideal for Dragon Boat Racing. All amenities are on hand and there is plenty of parking. An outdoor barbecue and refreshments are available throughout the day.
You do not need any previous experience at all, only eagerness for a challenge and a willingness to pump your arms for all you are worth.
We take customer service very seriously but don’t take our word for it, see our Dragon Boat Feedback from previous challengers.
We also have a Dragon Boat Photo Gallery with action snaps from the rowing adventure.
