Search by topic or browse a category. Event-specific details will always be shown with the relevant departure or sent directly to participants.

Choose a confirmed public Event and follow its booking link. Your booking contract is formed when Challenge Central accepts the booking and issues a Booking Confirmation. If no departure is listed, you can register interest or contact the team.

Some multi-day Events offer a deposit followed by a balance payment. Single-day Events may require payment in full. The payment schedule shown for the specific Event takes precedence.

Instalments may be available for selected Events. Check the Event booking information or ask us before booking; an instalment option is not guaranteed for every departure.

Your Event payment schedule and Booking Confirmation will state the balance date. Event-specific terms take precedence over general guidance.

Your booking is confirmed when Challenge Central accepts it and sends your Booking Confirmation. A payment attempt or enquiry alone does not confirm a place.

The booking journey will explain whether each participant must register separately. For a larger private group, contact us so we can discuss the most suitable arrangement.

Under the current general Terms, deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. More than three calendar months before an Event, qualifying refund or transfer options may apply; between one and three months, a qualifying transfer option may apply; less than one month before an Event, no refund or transfer applies. Event-specific terms take precedence. Please read the Terms & Conditions and contact us promptly.

A qualifying transfer may be possible under the cancellation windows in the Terms and depends on the Events involved. Contact us before making other arrangements. Deposits remain non-transferable under the current general Terms.

Please contact us. Any participant substitution must be agreed by Challenge Central and completed in time for the replacement participant to provide the information required for the Event.

We will contact affected participants using the details supplied with their booking and explain the options that apply under the Event terms and our Terms & Conditions.

Inclusions vary by Event. Use the package information provided on the confirmed Event page and in your participant information; do not assume that travel, accommodation, meals or equipment are included unless stated.

That depends on the activity, duration, terrain and difficulty. Review the Challenge information honestly and allow enough time to prepare. If you are unsure which Challenge suits you, talk to the team before booking.

Some Challenges are suitable for people building towards a first major goal; others require relevant experience. The confirmed Challenge and Event information will explain any specific expectations.

Requirements are specific to the Challenge and conditions. Follow the Event kit list supplied to you and ask the team if anything is unclear. Do not rely on a generic list in place of your Event information.

Arrangements vary. The Event page, booking information and participant communications will state what is included and what you need to arrange yourself.

Yes. Confirmed participants receive the practical information needed for their Event, including the relevant timings, meeting details and preparation guidance.

Conditions are monitored and the Event team may adapt, delay or stop activity when necessary. Decisions are made for the specific route and circumstances, and affected participants will be kept informed.

Challenge Central plans the leadership and support team around the needs of each Event. Your participant information will explain the relevant on-the-day arrangements.

Planning considers the route, participants, conditions, communications and practical support appropriate to the Event. See Safety & Support for our approach; Event-specific arrangements are shared with participants.
