Cycle from one of London’s best known landmarks to the beautiful city of Barcelona. This 460-mile bike ride adventure can be achieved over 6 days, travelling through some of the most beautiful countryside on smooth-as-silk roads.

With the late summer weather and the camaraderie from other cyclists, this challenge really is a dream cycle ride into Europe.

The London to Barcelona Cycle Tour will put you to the test with six days of consecutive cycling with a handful of challenging hill-climbs – which makes the challenge even more rewarding when achieved.

The London to Barcelona Cycle Ride is supported by the Challenge Central team along the way. Our support vehicle is never far away, carrying your personal belongings all the way to the finish line.

You also have the option to have your bikes and belongings transported back to the UK following the challenge – leaving you free to enjoy the sights and sounds of this magnificent city at your own pace.

Please note that the price of the challenge includes the overnight ferry on day 1, accommodation on days 1-5 (1 being the ferry), breakfast on days 2-6, evening meal on days 1-5, the train to Montpellier but does not include accommodation in Barcelona (post challenge) or your return travel back to the UK.

There are no charity commitments for this bike ride so you are free to raise money for any charity of your choice, or simply take on The London to Barcelona Cycle for a personal challenge without a minimum fundraising obligation.

The London to Barcelona Cycle Ride is an epic adventure full of lasting memories and hopefully some new friendships will be made too.

The challenge cost is based on participants sharing a twinned room. Unless informed otherwise we will place partners and joint bookings together wherever possible. We will of course only pair together same-sex participants.

If you prefer to stay in a room on your own, you can select the single occupancy option during your booking. You will also have the option to purchase an upgrade to a 3* hotel for Day 2 when you register for the event.

All Challenge Central events require a minimum participation level in order to operate. On very rare occasions if this level is not reached with 3 months to go, we may unfortunately have to cancel the challenge date. Bookings can either be refunded in full or transferred to another Challenge Central event within the next 18 months.

Your London to Barcelona booking also cannot be 100% confirmed until we have secured your place on the ferry. If the situation arises whereby the ferry is full at the time we book, we will of course refund your deposit. We strongly suggest you therefore do not purchase your return journey until we have fully confirmed your place has been secured by email (your booking confirmation received when you sign up is not your confirmation your place is secured).
