Your 3 Peaks Series
Challenge Central has been guiding, supporting, and helping people achieve their goals by taking them up the iconic National 3 Peaks for many years. We’ve loved it and we know the Challenge off by heart, however we’ve taken the bold decision to offer an alternative series of 3 Peak Challenges.
Whilst the National 3 Peaks remains high on people's ‘Bucket List’, here at Challenge Central, we feel the negative effect it has on the environment and in particular the UK’s incredible ‘Areas of Natural Beauty (AONB), we’ve decided to come up with a different group of challenges.
Our ‘Your 3 Peaks’ Series still encompasses the highest Peaks the UK has to offer, but instead of rushing in and out of the AONB and using all the facilities and not benefiting the local community, we’ve decided to organise a series of local 3 Peaks Challenges in a specific area.
This means that not only do you discover, learn and appreciate a specific area of our beautiful country but also the local community will now benefit in terms of people not simply getting back in the vehicle and shooting off! But hopefully using the local shops, bars, restaurants, and hotels – taking more time to absorb what the area has to offer whilst not driving over a thousand miles and polluting the landscape!
So ‘Your 3 Peaks’ is exactly that! It’s ‘YOURS’. It’s ours, it’s everybody's. And we have an entire series of them; no longer do you have just a single 3 Peaks, you now have a load of them! Yorkshire, Snowdonia, Brecon, Ben Nevis & the Lake District – and this is just for starters! 5 to choose from, 5 medals to earn, and 5 mountain ranges to conquer.
It’s better for the environment, reduces our carbon footprint, great for the local community, is more social, is a fantastic single-day challenge, and ultimately, is more rewarding. Oh, and it's much cheaper!
